The ASTIR project website is now online, providing a central source of information about our work on AI-augmented software engineering for intelligent robotics.
The website introduces the motivation behind ASTIR, the project’s technical concept and its three main research pillars: trustworthy generative AI, AI-supported requirements, design and implementation, and dependability assurance. It also presents the nine organisations contributing expertise in robotics, artificial intelligence, software engineering, industrial automation, security and standardisation.
Over the course of the project, the website will be expanded with public deliverables, publications, technical resources, project presentations and updates from the ASTIR use cases.
ASTIR is developing an open-source, AI-augmented engineering workbench that will support robotics developers across the software lifecycle—from requirements engineering and system design to testing, deployment and maintenance. The technologies will be evaluated in manufacturing robotics, mobile service robotics and unmanned aerial vehicles.
